Rebecca Goode ADI

Rebecca managed a busy Muffin Break café before retraining as a driving instructor, so she's used to staying calm when everything gets busy at once — and to working with people of every age and temperament.

Her route to instructing was anything but ordinary: a veterinary physiotherapy degree interrupted by lymphoma at 21, then recovery, a pandemic, a baby — and then a decision to build a career doing something she genuinely loves. Learners say that resilience and good humour come through in every lesson.

She's a natural teacher who explains things plainly, keeps her cool in tricky situations, and adapts each lesson to the person in the seat — whether that's a confident teenager or someone who has put off learning for years.

Out of the car she's a horse owner with a dog and a cat for company, a former keen gamer, and always planning the next trip — the Netherlands and Morocco are favourites so far.
